Niall makes beautiful handmade furniture from hazel and spanish chesnut which are both grown in Ireland. He is very environmentally aware and mostly uses wood from trees which have fallen down naturally. The oils he uses to treat the wood are organic. Niall makes tables, chairs, chopping boards as well as decorative items and can make a bespoke piece of furniture to suit your particular needs.
From his workshop in Tibradden, Niall runs woodwork classes for children which have proven extremely popular. And he has had so many enquiries from parents wanting to learn his skills he will shortly be starting classes for adults too. I will keep you posted!
Niall is also planning to open a cafe / craft shop off his workshop where people can sit and enjoy a coffee while watching him at work. Everything in the cafe from the furniture to the cushions to the decorations will be handmade in Ireland by local craftspeople and for sale. I will keep you posted on this exciting new project!
If you would like to contact Niall about furniture, classes or plucky ducks you can email him at firstname.lastname@example.org or check out his website.
P.S. If you want to keep up to date with what is going on at Fuzzy Irish Crafts HQ and crafting in Ireland in general:
